Today's prompt is DREAMS. This quote is adapted from the life of Chinese philosopher Mencius who faced significant setbacks in his career and legacy, late in his life. The king he served misapplied Mencius's advice to justify waging war against a neighboring state. Dreams and goals, Mencius concluded, are useful, but nothing is guaranteed in life. We must pursue our dreams, knowing that the value lies not necessarily in the measure of our success, but in the mere act of our doing.
I'm taking part in Dani DiPirro (IG @positivelypresent)'s 30-day gratitude challenge for the month of November. Every day, I'll be illustrating a different comic based on her daily prompts.
