It's official! The announcement was released earlier last month that The Oxherd Boy webcomic will be adapted into a book as a collection of illustrated wisdom for adults. I am so grateful to share that Potter Gift, an imprint of Penguin Random House, known for its beautiful gift books, journals, and paper products, will be publishing the book to be released in spring 2024.
The book is intended to be a gift book, one in which you might open to a random page and drop into the world for as little or as long as you like. It will feature many of the illustrations you've seen here, but also give me a chance to create longer, more comprehensive images and explore themes and ideas more deeply through my writing and in the visuals.
I'm a little intimidated by the volume of work (144 pages!) that needs to be produced, but am also excited for the opportunities that this different, printed medium can offer. More to come soon.
